Not PandaBuy, and not connected to it: PandaBuy closed in 2024. This is an independent guide to the agents and shops people moved to, and none of them runs or pays for it.

How it works · without PandaBuy

How PandaBuy Worked, and How to Do Exactly the Same Thing at an Agent That's Still Open

Checked · the PandaBuy Alternatives desk

Short answer

PandaBuy was a shopping agent: you pasted a Weidian or Taobao link, it bought the item, photographed it in its warehouse and shipped everything in one box. Every open agent works the same way, so the routine you learned on PandaBuy still applies; only the agent changes. At our last check 23 were open. The seven steps below cover the whole order, from converting an old PandaBuy link to paying freight once for the full parcel. The two things that changed since PandaBuy are tax (most countries now charge on small parcels) and caution (pay per order, never keep a balance).

Weidian listings: follow the seven steps with two or three of these. Each tile leads to the listing's photos and size options on repbuysheet.com. Old PandaBuy sheets ran to thousands of rows; the repbuysheet.com catalog behind these tiles keeps going with 10,000+ products.

Sponsored links. Photo, name and button all open one listing on repbuysheet.com, where the seller's full photo set, the size options and the source shop link live. Dollar and yuan prices are copied from that catalog on the check date and move with the exchange rate.

The seven steps, from link to doorstep

If you ever pasted a link into PandaBuy, you already know most of this. The full routine at any open agent:

  1. Convert the link. Turn an old PandaBuy row into the original Weidian, Taobao or 1688 link with the link converter, or copy a fresh link from a finds sheet.
  2. Paste it into an open agent. Use the agent's search bar, exactly where you used to paste links into PandaBuy. Pick size and colour.
  3. Pay for the item. Pay per order and never keep a balance. The agent buys from the seller in yuan.
  4. Wait for the warehouse. The seller posts the item to the agent's warehouse in China, usually within a few days.
  5. Check the QC photos. Approve the item, or ask for an exchange or return while it is still in China.
  6. Submit the parcel. Choose a shipping line once everything has arrived; ask for compact packing and shoe boxes removed.
  7. Pay freight and receive. Pay international shipping once for the whole box, then track it to your door and pay any import charges due.

Steps one to five repeat for every item; six and seven happen once per box. That's the economics of an agent: a little domestic delivery per item, international freight only once. It's why one item through an agent rarely pays and ten usually do.

Verdict: Treat each item at QC and the whole box at shipping. Fewer, fuller boxes are where an agent saves you money.

Pasting links, the way you did on PandaBuy

'How to paste links into PandaBuy' was one of the most searched PandaBuy questions, and it still applies, only now at another agent:

  • Paste the marketplace link, not another agent's link. Most agents read weidian.com, item.taobao.com and detail.1688.com links directly.
  • If the agent doesn't recognise it, look for its 'DIY order' or manual order form and enter the shop, item and price yourself.
  • If your sheet only has pandabuy.page.link codes, they can't be pasted anywhere: that service ended on August 25, 2025. Find a long copy of the row.
  • Some agents import a whole list; LoongBuy added bulk cart import in July 2026.

The link converter does the first step for a whole column, and the status board shows which agent to paste into.

What each step costs, then and now

For scale, Sugargoo publishes a 3 kg clothing parcel at $27.94 to the UK and $55.18 to California. Spread across ten items that's a few dollars each. The shipping calculator and duty calculator put numbers on your own haul.

How long it takes, and the three new habits

An agent order takes longer than a single online purchase because you wait for the slowest item before shipping. Roughly: three to six days for sellers to reach the warehouse, a day or two at the warehouse once you've paid for shipping (rep.tools measured a one-day median at KakoBuy), then one to three weeks on the line. PandaBuy users will recognise the rhythm.

What changed since PandaBuy is what can go wrong. Two big agents have closed since 2024, so a sensible routine now adds three habits: pay per order, ship within the free storage window, and keep the original marketplace links in your own sheet, ideally the haul template.

Verdict: Same routine as PandaBuy, plus three habits that PandaBuy's closure taught.

Agent words, explained

Words you'll meet at every agent:

  • QC photos: pictures of your actual item at the warehouse, taken before it ships.
  • Volumetric weight: a box's size turned into kilos; lines charge the higher of this and the scale weight.
  • Rehearsal: a trial pack that tells you weight and price before you pay freight.
  • Tax-included line: a shipping line where duty and VAT are collected at checkout (IOSS in the EU).
  • DIY order: a manual order form for links the agent can't read.
  • Consolidation: combining items from many sellers into one parcel.

How-it-works questions

How did PandaBuy work?

You pasted a Weidian or Taobao link, PandaBuy bought the item in yuan, photographed it in its warehouse and shipped everything in one box. It charged a 0% service fee service fee and stored items free for 90 days. Every open agent follows the same seven steps, and at our last check 23 were open. Your old routine still works; only the agent's name changes.

How do I paste links into an agent now PandaBuy's gone?

Convert the old PandaBuy link back to the original marketplace link, then paste it into the agent's search bar, just where you pasted into PandaBuy. Most agents read weidian.com, item.taobao.com and detail.1688.com links directly; if one doesn't, use its DIY order form. Short page.link codes ended on August 25, 2025. Convert a whole column at once with the link converter to save time.

How long from pasting a link to a parcel at the door?

Typically three to six days for sellers to reach the warehouse, a day or two there once you've paid for shipping, then one to three weeks on the line. rep.tools measured a one-day warehouse median at KakoBuy. The box can't go until the slowest item arrives. Order everything for one haul together so a single late seller doesn't hold up the whole parcel.

Is ordering through an agent harder than PandaBuy?

No, the steps are identical: paste, pay, check QC, ship. What differs is cost and caution. Service fees now run from 0% to about 10%, by agent and platform, payment fees around 3%, and most countries charge tax on small parcels. Two big agents have also closed since 2024. If you managed PandaBuy, you can order at any of the 23 open agents today; just pay per order and never keep a balance.

Can I return items bought through an agent?

Only while they're still in the agent's warehouse in China, and only if both the agent's and the seller's rules allow it. Use the QC photos to spot a wrong item or defect, then ask for an exchange or return straight away. Free storage runs 60 to 300 days depending on the agent, but seller return windows are far shorter. After the parcel ships, returns are rarely practical.

What's the safest way to pay?

Pay per order by card or PayPal, so a dispute stays possible, and never keep a balance in an agent wallet. Payment fees are typically about 3%; PandaBuy charged PayPal 3.7% + $0.30 and card 3.8%. When an agent shuts, wallet money is the first thing customers lose, as PandaBuy users found in 2024. Pay for each order as you place it.

The record for Ordering without PandaBuy

Put together by the PandaBuy Alternatives desk; every claim was checked against the list below on . The PandaBuy history leans on court records, police-side reporting and Wikipedia; agent fees, storage and review counts come from each agent's own pages or the named trackers. Where sources disagree we print both. A finds tile was only published if its main photo and its link showed the same item.
